Who we are
AttiCali EcoShield is a licensed California contractor (CSLB #1149346) serving the Bay Area. "We", "us" and "our" mean AttiCali EcoShield. Questions about this policy go to [email protected] or 1-408-664-9888.
What we collect and why
We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical data any website needs to load.
- Booking form: your name, phone number, city, where the problem is (attic, crawl space, garage or not sure) and an optional note. We use it to call you back and schedule your free inspection.
- Compare-your-quote form: your name, phone, city, optional email, an optional note and the quote files you upload. A quote can include your address and another company's prices. We use it only to compare that quote and prepare ours.
- Calls, texts and emails: whatever you tell us, so we can answer you, inspect, quote and do the work.
- Spam check: both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. To do that, it processes data from your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser details. It is used only for that check (see Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum).
- Technical data: when a page loads, our web host (Cloudflare) receives standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the page asked for. It is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
The "Questions?" quick-answers box shows ready-made answers inside your browser. It is not a live chat and does not send what you tap to us or anyone else.
Both forms are delivered to our office by email. Uploaded quote files are stored in a private Google Drive folder that only our office account can open; they are not attached to emails or shared.
Categories, in California terms
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), the information above falls into these categories:
- Identifiers: name, phone number, email, IP address.
- Customer records: city, address shown on an uploaded quote, details of your home and the work.
- Commercial information: services you asked about, quotes and jobs.
- Internet activity: the technical request data described above.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law, and we do not use any information to build profiles or make automated decisions about you.
We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done either in the past 12 months. Because there is nothing to opt out of, our site also respects Global Privacy Control signals by default.
Who else sees it
Only companies that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Our website host, Cloudflare, which delivers the pages.
- Google Workspace (email and file storage), which delivers form submissions to our office and stores uploaded quotes, and Cloudflare Turnstile (spam check) on the two forms.
- The scheduling, estimate and invoicing software we use to book and manage jobs.
- Email and phone providers, when we contact you.
These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies and tracking
Our site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising pixels or tracking across other sites. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and does not track you across sites. Our fonts, code and video are served from our own site. The only outside services are Cloudflare Web Analytics and the Cloudflare Turnstile spam check on the booking and compare-your-quote forms, which may keep what it strictly needs in your browser for that check only. If we ever add advertising tools, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Quotes you upload for comparison: used only for that comparison, never shared, kept for 90 days and then permanently deleted.
- Booking requests, if you do not become a customer: kept only as long as we need them, and no longer than 12 months.
- If you hire us: we keep job, contract and tax records for as long as the law and our business records require.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from and how we use it, and give you a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it (for example, contract and tax records).
To make a request, email [email protected] or call 1-408-664-9888. We confirm your identity by matching the phone number or email you gave us, then reply within 45 days, as California law requires. You can also have an authorized agent ask for you, with your written permission. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only people who need your details to serve you can see them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, card numbers or similar details through the forms.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
