Why a clean crawl space matters.

The space under your home is connected to the rooms above it, so what is down there matters.

Air rises into the house. Air from the crawl space can rise into your home, along with whatever is down there.
Fewer smells. Old droppings, nests and soiled insulation can cause musty smells. Taking them out removes the source.
A clean base for what comes next. A vapor barrier lies flat on clean ground, and new batts and ducts go into a clean space.
Easier to check later. In a clean crawl space, new problems are easier to spot at your next inspection.

What happens to the old insulation under the floor?

If it has fallen, torn or been soiled by rodents, we take it out. New batts can go back in, listed on the same quote.

Can I book crawl space cleaning only?

Yes. You can book cleaning on its own. At the free inspection we also show you any open entry points, so you can decide whether to seal them too.

Do you also seal the foundation vents?

Yes, if you want them sealed. Vents and gaps are closed with galvanized steel mesh, putty and concrete in the same visit.

How is it priced?

We price it after the free inspection, and the written quote lists every item. 10% off for multiple services, or $300 off any job over $2,000 (one discount per job).

How long does crawl space cleaning take?

It is a one-day job.

Do you sanitize the crawl space?

Yes. After the debris, droppings and damaged insulation are out, the crew sanitizes the crawl space.

Can you add a vapor barrier, batts or new ducts?

Yes, in the same visit. Under the floor the most common batt insulation is R-19, held up with metal wire supports. Two or more services get 10% off (one discount per job).

How do you protect my home on job day?

The crew covers the path from your front door to the work areas with drop cloths or plastic sheeting: the floors, and some walls where needed. Old material and debris go out with us.
